    The Road Traffic Infringement Agency (RTIA), in partnership with Umsobomvu Local Municipality inform the motorists and general public of the four-day AARTO Roadshow activation programme which will take place in the Colesberg from 15 -18 November 2022.

    The RTIA is continuously reaching to motorists in vast remote areas of South Africa, to conduct Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences (AARTO) Public Education Awareness Campaign. The RTIA is taking AARTO services closer to the road user community.

    The road users will be assisted to check their AARTO infringement status, and are advised on how to resolve the same AARTO infringements by selecting from the available legislated elective options. The AARTO Act is aimed at enhancing law enforcement in municipalities by introducing a standard, equitable and fair traffic contravention system. The four-day’s activities will unfold as follows;

    Activity: Know Your Traffic Fine Status

    Venue: Colesberg Driving License Testing Centre (DLTC)

    Activity: Knock ‘n Drop
    Time: 08:00am – 12:00pm
    Venue: Kuyasa & Operation Vula

    Activity: Mall Activation,
    Venue: Shoprite Centre
    Proposed Time: 11:30am – 14:00pm

    Activity: Know Your Traffic Fine Status

    Purpose: Know Your Traffic Fines Status

    16 November 2022:
    Time: 08:00am – 12:00pm
    Venue: Vezubuhle Area
    Purpose: Knock n drop visiting household for AARTO Education and pamphleteering.

    17 November 2022:
    Time: 08:00am – 12:00pm
    Venue: Long Distance Taxi Rank and Municipal Head Office in Kwaggafontein
    Purpose: Know Your Traffic Fines Status
    18 November 2022:
    Time: 08:00am – 12:00pm
    Venue: AARTO Friday at R573 Moloto Road next to Big Tree Mall
    Purpose: AARTO Public Education and Awareness and Know Your Traffic Fines Status

    19 November 2022:
    Time: 08:00am – 12:00pm
    Venue: Phola Mall Activation
    Purpose: AARTO Public Education and Awareness and Know Your Traffic Fines Status
